Hmmmmm.
Is it fair to live in paradise and dream about somewhere else?
Today I miss this:
View from the Capitoline
Maybe it’s because my older brother just moved to Sicily, but this morning I woke up to the curtains fluttering in the wind and the distant sound of scooters and what I imagined were church bells, and I’ve had Rome on my mind ever since. I suppose five years anywhere is enough to make a lasting impression, but The Eternal City seems to be eternally tugging at my heartstrings.
Oh Roma, quando ci rivedremo di nuovo?

I miss Roma, too~~~
(I’m secretly … openly? …wishing you guys live in Italy, or somewhere in Europe so we will have “base” there ;D)
I must have remembered somewhere deep down in my subconscious that today was Rome’s 2,763rd birthday.
Just watched Anthony Bourdain’s “Rome” episode—all done in black in white—and even though he purposefully didn’t reveal the name of the restaurant with his favorite pasta al cacio e pepe he can’t trick this Roman girl: I can recognize Roma Sparita in Piazza Santa Cecilia in a split second!
Yeah, we’ll move back to Rome. When we’re millionaires. How bout that?
I miss Roma too!!!
